Cup Woodie medium
Cup Woodie medium, designer Martin Poš. He works with traditional Czech porcelain and stoneware. Each piece is hand-turned on a potter’s wheel and further modelled. The objects are decorated using a traditional technique of applying precious metal compounds and re-fired. Their surface bears fine cracks and structures that resemble eroded rocks or soil. The series uses innovative techniques and experimental processes that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.
