Necklace Sage Goldplated
Goldplated Sage necklace from the Le Grand Jeu collection designed by Janja Prokič. The Le Grand Jeu collection found its style inspiration at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. At that time, mystics, artists and writers such as Georg Ivanovich Gurdjieff, René Daumal, Roger Gilbert Lecomte, Sarah Bernhardt and Alphonse Mucha, whose book on flower painting played an important role, were active. Janja Prokic’s work is particularly influenced by the work of Sophie Calle, Marina Abramović, Louise Bourgeois and the writer Clarissa Pinkola Estés.
The collection itself is based on the principles of the Law of Three and Seven. These were created by the mystic Georgy Gurdjieff. This manifests itself in the motif of the three flowers and the heavily stylized heptagonal head of the fox. The symbolism of the sage, which is represented in the collection, represents wisdom and immortality. Shamans consider the sage to be the supreme plant. Its burning leaves expel evil spirits and energetically purify the body and space. The Goldplated Sage necklace is inspired by this motif.
