Silver ring MAYA with Citrine. Designed by designer Anežka Juhová and comes from the eponymous Maya collection. The new Maya collection captures specific moments from the artist’s travels in Mexico. The collection is personal. For the artist, the Mexican journey was the moment when she found herself the furthest away from home in her life. Processing the material meant processing her own experiences of travel, finding a specific shape for the jewellery was a search for what each moment of her travels meant to her. The process of making was essential to her, allowing her to relive individual memories. Jewellery is an interpretation, leading us to perceive the wildness, the colour and the journey into the unknown.
