Soap Black as my Soul

Handmade Black as My Soul soap by Almara Soap. Black soap has been a huge hit in recent years, and for good reason! Some people might find the black color unappealing, while others worry that black charcoal will leave stains. Wrong! On the contrary, black charcoal is a fantastic natural cleanser, ideal for oily, younger skin prone to clogged pores and pimples. And it doesn’t stain at all when you wash! The charcoal we use is made from bamboo using a traditional Japanese method. The bamboo is harvested at 5 years of age and burned in a kiln at temperatures exceeding 1000°C, followed by grinding to produce a fine powder.

The soap base is the same as in Lemon Tea Tree, so it cleanses effectively without over-drying the skin. The effects are further enhanced by the inclusion of 100% pure rosemary essential oil, which gives the soap a wonderful scent. It is gentler and not as “harsh” as Lemon Tea Tree, so we recommend it for those with sensitive skin 🙂

It contains a high proportion of the highest quality plant oils, which are carefully blended so as not to clog pores while nourishing the skin.
