Espresso cup, golden cinnamon
Espresso cup, golden cinnamon by designer Roman Šedina. Roman transcends the boundaries of art and design. He has long explored the format of vessels, primarily monumental hand-thrown vases and bowls. He then deconstructs the laborious and physically demanding process without which such artifacts would not exist—he deforms, crushes, or even smashes the vessels. The resulting form is often characterized by distinctive glazes, with metallic shades from his own recipes becoming his trademark.
