SEGRASEGRA is unisex techwear with a touch of Japanese aesthetics.
They blur the lines between men’s and women’s fashion. They combine movement and deconstructed cuts with high-tech materials. They create a new language of urban clothing. With respect for the planet, they manufacture in the Czech Republic. Segrasegra. The name is not just marketing for them. They really are sisters, even though they don’t look very similar. They prefer not to ask why… 🙂
Materials / recycling
Recycling has always been close to their hearts, which is why they have been recycling bicycle inner tubes for over ten years, using them as an environmentally friendly substitute for leather details. They use discarded banners and seek out innovative, environmentally friendly materials, which they use up to the last scrap. They also have their own second-hand shop.
Production
Segrasegra has been manufacturing in the Czech Republic since 2007. They strive to keep the tailoring craft alive by not manufacturing in Asia, unlike most clothing companies. The brand has been run by women since its inception, and sustainability is not just a commercial concept for them. Most of the people on the Segra team have children and think about what will happen to the planet once they are gone.
