Shade – Shapitó
Shade – Shapitó by JASNA. Is there a light bulb sticking out of your ceiling? Make your own lamp, which you can keep in the colour of the paper or decorate according to your own taste. This DIY set for making paper lamps can be a suitable gift for DIYers, creatives, artists or gifted children. Assembling the lamp is easy, thanks to the printed instructions or video instructions, which you can find using the QR code on the box.
The Shapito lamp has a smaller diameter, creating a narrower angle of light. It is ideal to place it above a desk, chair or in a child’s room. This model can be folded in two ways. The simpler version is described in the printed instructions and can be assembled by children. The second version is for advanced students and the procedure is explained in the video instruction. The chapitó consists of an offset chalk quarter which can be decorated not only with dry techniques such as markers, crayons, blown markers, pastels, linocut but also with water techniques such as tempera, watercolours and acrylics. When using these techniques, be careful not to get the paper too wet. Make sure the paper is dry before folding.
