Klara Marie Bliss
After graduating from the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2022, Klara Marie Bliss dived head first into the world of jewellery. Taking alternative approaches to form and technique, she creates pieces which pay homage to her childhood spent in Australia, literary heroines and her slavic roots. Interpreting mythological archetypes into a modern context using seashells, freshwater pearls, polymer and soldering.
All pieces are sculpted and packaged individually in Klara Marie’s Prague studio in limited quantities. Due to the organic nature of the materials and the freehand techniques used, each jewellery piece will vary slightly, the exact shape never to be repeated.
Her endeavours have earned her the title of Czech Grand jewellery designer of the year 2023 for her collection Banshee, as well as many magazine features including Vogue CS, Harpers Bazaar NL, Dolce Vita and more.
