Jan Plecháč
Designer Jan Plecháč is a graduate of the architecture studio at UMPRUM in Prague. He worked in the studio Jan Plecháč & Henry Wielgus from 2012 to 2019. It designed for brands such as Bomma, Cappellini, La Chance, Lasvit, Menu, Mint Shop, Spazio Rossana Orlandi and many others. They took an experimental approach to all their projects, which is still characteristic of all Plecháč’s work today.
The overall concept of the work remains a priority for him, while its aesthetic qualities are not so important and are often based on handmade work. Plecháč runs his own studio focusing on architecture, interior and product design. He has also been the artistic director of the Moser brand since 2022.
