Adéla Holešová - portrét

Holešová Adéla focuses on creating bags and scarves that originally emerged as objects made from leftover materials, with an emphasis on the theme of physicality and material combinations.

The bags are made from climbing ropes that no longer meet technical standards and leftover textile materials, giving them a new chance to exist beyond their original purpose. The wool scarves are created on a hand-operated knitting machine using a special technique resembling terry cloth and carry within them traces of automatic drawings. Each piece is created intuitively, taking into account the available materials, which is why no two pieces are ever the same.
