THE DESIGN is a concept store with a contemporary art gallery in the historic center of Prague. At THE DESIGN, you will find a unique selection of the best works by Czech and international designers and artists. The curated selection features not only modern design glass, ceramics, and jewelry, but also collectibles. The space includes a café with the unique atmosphere of a former pharmacy and a peaceful garden.

The concept of the Czech design store was created by owner Olga Rühle, Míla Umanec Bulířová, and artist Romana Drdová. Their goal is to create a place on Havelská Street that will attract both casual and slow tourism enthusiasts, as well as Prague residents who have avoided this area for many years.

The design store is located in a unique 120 square meter space on the ground floor and basement of a former pharmacy with an entrance from Havelská Street. Across the historic building, the store connects to its own café, which is also accessible from the quiet street V Kotcích, where you can enjoy various types of coffee and desserts.
